immigrant pastors for healthy, biblical, financially independent ministry.
70% of pastors and ministry leaders in Africa lack ministry training. LEMA exists to change that.
LEMA Institute has been established to provide quality seminary-level education to pastors worldwide. At the foundation, LEMA hopes to transform individuals' lives by providing for their essential needs and encouraging education to promote a stronger future for generations to come.
Immigrant Training Program

Immigrants face challenges adjusting to life in the US due to language barriers and a lack of understanding of American culture. The challenge becomes more intensified for immigrant pastors and ministry leaders due to the absence of formal ministry training while in their countries of origin. The Training Program of the LEMA Institute offers specialized training for those already leading or those who want to lead as Pastors, Elders, Deacons, and Female Leaders in immigrant and ethnic minority communities in North America. After the program, students receive certificates in Key Ministry Areas- Ministry Leadership, Pastoral Ministry, and Women Ministry Leadership.
LEMA Theological Seminary

Since 2015, Nigeria has seen God's hand of mercy upon the LEMA site. Our Nigeria location now acts as a fully sustainable theological seminary as well as provides a 30,000+ library to the community to come and learn. Each year the LEMA site in Nigeria sees thousands of pastors, ministry leaders, community members, and children come to learn on their site. With a staff of over 25 (including remote international staff), the seminary is fully equipped with the individuals that it needs to provide quality Christian education to the students who come to learn.
LEMA Study Center
Amuria, Uganda
The Lord led LEMA to Uganda in 2020 to begin our next location for LEMA Theological Seminary. Our work began with establishing a study center in the community for students to come to take ministerial classes free of cost, some of which go on to earn their Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degrees. LEMA works to establish a long-term relationship with our community in Uganda by planting a water well in 2024 and furthering our relationship by establishing a full-fledged seminary in Amuria, Uganda.
